Make Room for Growth
Growth doesn't squeeze itself into a life that's already packed. It needs space — and space doesn't just appear. You have to make it. That means something has to give. The habit that's keeping you stuck. The schedule that leaves no room for your own health. The mindset that's been running the show longer than it should. You can't add something meaningful without being willing to let go of something that isn't working.
That part isn't easy. Comfortable and familiar feel the same, even when one of them is holding you back. But here's the truth that all of us know: the discomfort of change is temporary. The cost of staying the same adds up over time in ways you don't always notice until you're forced to. Energy you don't have. Strength you've lost. The slow drift away from the person you were meant to become.
Making room for growth isn't just about carving out time to exercise, though that's part of it. It's about deciding that your health — your physical and mental wellbeing — is worth protecting on your calendar the same way everything else is. It's about being honest with yourself about what's actually in the way. Sometimes the biggest obstacle isn't the workout. It's everything you've convinced yourself comes first.
So, like the suitcase you’ve overpacked for vacation, you’ll need to pull some items back out and clear some space. And now, you’ve got to protect it. What you're making room for might be the most important thing you do.
